2. Kigali Genocide Memorial
Tourists learn of the dreadful 1994 genocide that left more than 800,000 people in just 100 days. It has halls of photographs, artifacts, and information about the victims. The museum also has a permanent exhibit on the history of genocide around the world and the intervention efforts from international communities.

3. Nyungwe Forest Park
