A Bwindi forest located on the western arm of the great rift valley was marked as a world heritage site by UNESCO for hosting half of the world’s population of the endangered mountain gorilla species and being biologically diverse; hosts 120 species of mammals, 202 butterfly species, 346 bird species, 27 frog species, and 100 fern species. Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Upon arrival, you will transfer to the home of mountain gorillas the Bwindi impenetrable national park, driving through the cool breeze of the mountains of Uganda on winding roads around western Uganda till you arrive, for check-in dinner and stay overnight at

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Batwa cultural experience
We will wake up to an early morning breakfast and head to the park headquarters for a morning briefing before the main event, trekking is done in groups of eight per gorilla family, it can be a very tiring process but very rewarding by the time you meet these beautiful creatures it is very entertaining and interesting to watch them returning to the lodge for lunch and an afternoon cultural performance from the Batwa community the last remaining pygmies in Uganda
