African Travelers Ltd will make your dream for visiting the east Africa highest mountain come true. This will be without hectic.
In Africa Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest peak (5,895 m) and the most famous picture of Tanzania. Unlike other Northern Tanzania parks, Mount Kilmanjaro National Park is not visited for animals, but rather for a chance to admire this majestic snow-capped peak and climb to the top for many. Kilimanjaro can be climbed at any time, although the best period is during the dry season from the end of June to October.
This lovely feature, now a World Heritage Site, was formed over a million years ago after the volcano upheaval at the Rift. There are also three spectacular Kibo, Mawenzi and Shira volcanic cones that sprang out 750,000 years ago. Uhuru peak in Kibo, one of the 7 tallest peaks in the world, is the highest point.
From the lower terrain to the rainforest and the mountain wilderness, the mountain rises and on the steep lunar landscape. In the rainforest slopes reside leopards, buffalos, monkeys, elephants, leopards and eland. There are plenty of prey birds in the alpine environment. All these gorgeous sceneries of Mount Kilimanjaro will be experienced by African Travelers. While no immediate development is underway, the Government approved a plan to build Kilimanjaro cable car by the end of 2020. If built, tourists would reach a height of 3,700 metres.
