From the offset of this travel, you are assured that African Travellers Ltd will maximize your time in the park as you will access them by air flying on the daily scheduled services linked from the country's capital Nairobi. We encourage our clients to bring their cameras to catch a glimpse and remember the conspicuous scenery, ranging from lakes, mineral springs, and glaciers to the dense bamboo and alpine forests.
Located on the Central Highlands, east of The Great Rift valley, is the Mount Kenya National Park. It incorporates its country's name of the highest mountain, Mount Kenya, having formed through series of eruptions. It comprises three glacier-shrouded mountain peaks. The peak higher of all is Batian. Nelion peak is the second highest. Lenana is the lowest peak and has always been considered the easiest peak to climb. The diverse nature of the plants and wildlife in the park provides satisfying prospects for the tours. There are tree hyrax, leopards, white and black colobus monkeys, hyenas, buffalo, and elephants in the park.
North of capital Nairobi for around 200 kilometers and close to the park is Ol' Pejeta Conservancy. For great wildlife encounters, this is the best prime place to be. Protection, sustainability, and conservation are the key roles at this private game reserve. Popular for its habitation of the famous Big Five (leopard, rhino, buffalo, lion, and the elephant) and other wildlife, including the zebra, cheetah, hyenas, and hartebeest. After a view of the wildlife, it's usual to go against a magnificent setting on the snowcapped peaks of Mount Kenya. Ol' Pejeta conservancy is greatly recognized for its habitation of the southern and northern white rhinos, as well as the blind black rhino, famously known as Baraka, who the luckiest visitors always get a chance of feeding it.
